Damon Walsh


Damon Walsh is the president of DnJ Enterprises, a business development and acquisition management consulting firm in Charleston, South Carolina. Damon is a retired U.S. Army officer with over 30 years of combined military and defense industry experience representing large and small corporations. Damon brings the ability to merge military acquisition expertise with solid industry experience in enabling clients to fully understand and navigate the military acquisition process in order to achieve expanded market penetration and effectively target investment opportunities.


During his 25 years in the Army, Damon served as an Infantry and Special Forces officer at multiple levels of command and staff. He was accessed as an Army Acquisition Corps officer as a field grade officer and served in a wide variety of contract and program management assignments including TACOM-ACALA at Rock Island Arsenal, DCMC-Haiti, Headquarters US Special Operations Command, DCMA Iraq, and as the commanding officer of the Lima Army Tank Plant/DCMA-GDLS. He is a veteran of Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Operation Provide Comfort, Operation Uphold Democracy in Haiti, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.


Upon retiring from the Army in 2005, Damon joined Force Protection Industries, Incorporated in Charleston, SC, serving as a program manager for the Buffalo and Cougar programs, Vice President of Program Management, and eventually the Executive Vice President of Customer Operations. Damon was the lead executive in growing the business from annual revenues of $50 Million in 2005 to $1.3 Billion in 2007 having responsibility for all customer interface functions to include program management, contract management, and business development.


Damon holds a master's degree from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School and is a graduate of the Advanced Executive Program at Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
